ShelTech began exploring the integration of Arduino boards and micro-servos into its designs and products in early 2022. This research culminated in the development of a multi-directional thrust vectoring rocket control system.
Inspired by this breakthrough, ShelTech continued to investigate the synergy between FDM components and electronics. In mid-2024, the company embarked on a series of experiments with Electric Ducted Fan (EDF) designs and components. After several months of work, the resulting 10B-64X serves as a foundational platform for future EDF development.
